Battle Tank Driving Elite - T-55 / T-72

Feel what it's like to drive & operate a heavily armoured, Soviet T-55 or T-72 battle tank.Welcome to our off road military area and tank driving base near Prague where your personal tank driving lesson awaits you! After an introductory training video, climb aboard and take your position in the control cabin. Our experienced instructors patiently guide you through the operating procedures as you take command of the controls and drive the battle tank over rough and varied terrain. Feel the cold metal against your skin, the smell of tank fuel and the deafening roar of the engine as you experience the unsurpassed strength of this gigantic vehicle. After this exhilarating experience, you will be brought back to earth with a guided tour of our military museum where you can see a range of military vehicles and weapons including: T-34, T-55, T-72 Tanks, OT-64 Armoured Personnel Carriers as well as an original soviet rocket carrier.

Program includes:

Welcome and registration
Hire of military clothing for driver (pants, jacket)
Tank driver training (either by video or live demonstration)
Tank driving - 25min. VT-55 and 30min. T-55 battle tank or 30 minutes T-72*.
Tank type is not subject of choice.
Always accompanied by experienced instructors for guidance and support
Guided tour of Military Museum
Tank driving diploma and authentic Russian fur cap with ear flaps
Up to 2 passengers riding the tank as you drive

Further information:

Total duration: 1.5 - 2 hours.
Before taking control of the main battle tank, you will first learn to drive the T-55 Recovery tank (VT-55), which has the same cabin and controls as the battle tank, but is lighter and easier to manoeuvre.
Availability: All year round (during daylight hours).
Minimum age 18, driving licence necessary
For safety reasons, spectators are not permitted during this event unless you sign up as passenger (2 included in the price additional 3 at extra cost).
*Tank driving times include 5 minutes instructor driving. Clients drive for 55 minutes on the T-55 types or 25 minutes on the T-72 battle tank.

T-72 M1 Russian Battle Tank

The T-72 entered production in 1971. About 20,000 T-72 tanks were built, making it one of the most widely produced post–World War II tanks, second only to the T-54/55 family.
