Military Truck Off Road Driving

Welcome to our off road driving arena and your personal driving lesson in a genuine Zil Soviet army truck. Used extensively across the Eastern bloc, these general purpose, 2.5 ton, 6x6 supply trucks were built to survive. Enjoy the bumpy ride!
With 60 hectares of off road land to explore, be prepared for a varied landscape of hills, gullies, dirt tracks, steep inclines & descents, angled side slopes and muddy puddles. Learn how to control the vehicle across these different environments under the watchful eye of our experienced instructors. Your driving skills will naturally improve as will your confidence.

Driver briefing - Introduction to vehicle & off road driving techniques
Drive a Zil 157 or 131 military truck - exact model depends on availability on the day
Expert tuition from our friendly, experienced instructors
30 minutes driving across countryside terrain

Necessary Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age
Car driving licence
No physical limitations

Further information:

Total duration: approximately 1.5 hours.
Availability: All year round (during daylight hours).
Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing with good shoes suitable for the expected weather.
Spectators are not allowed during this event.
Vehicles are insured against accidental damage, however if an accident is caused by negligent or reckless driving, the client will be obliged to pay 10% contribution towards the repair costs, not less than 15,000 CZK.

ZIL 131 Russian Army Truck

In 1967, the ZiL-131 replaced the long serving ZiL-157 as the Soviet’s standard general purpose military truck. It retained key features that made the ZiL-157 so successful, such as the 6x6 wheeled drive system, but was designed to cope with much heavier payloads of 3.5 tons off road and up to 5 tons on road.
