The Zil-157 is a General purpose military truck produced during the cold war era, between 1958 & 1966.
It was built by the Soviets in the ZiL - "Zavod imeni Likhachova" - factory in the former USSR.

With its 6x6 wheeled drive system, this heavy duty truck was capable of transporting supplies and soldiers across the most demanding terrain.
Designed as a flatbed truck, it could be adapted to carry heavy military payloads, up to 16 soldiers or even surface-to-air missile systems.
The Zil-157 is a truly versatile, tough and efficient military truck, serving as the standard Soviet truck until it was replaced by the ZiL-131 in 1967.
