FAQ Founder Martin Schmid combined his love of the great outdoors, adventure & physical exercise with his military experience as a Special Forces Officer in the Swiss Army and his customer services background in Events Management in the hotel and tourism industry, to create the small, friendly and family run business; 'OffRoad Action'.
Founded in 2002, the original concept was designed for a Company Director’s stag weekend. Incorporating many of the elements we offer today, the stag and his friends enjoyed 3 days of high intensity, high adrenaline fun including tank driving, quads, off road 4x4, stunt helicopter and speed boats.
The success of this event led to the formation of ‘OffRoad Action’, an off-shoot of the events management company 'Fortissimo Prague', with one simple mission: “To help customers escape the stress of day to day life, by creating the most unforgettable, action filled, high adrenaline experiences to enjoy in the great outdoors.”
Since then we have grown from strength to strength, establishing our very own military base, 30km from Prague with up to 200 hectares of beautiful Czech countryside to explore, growing our fleet of off road vehicles to more than 75, and extending our service offering to a wider range of activities including paintball, nature safaris and a live ammunition shooting range.
We believe spare time should be spent in the great outdoors, enjoying physical activities with friends, family and colleagues, not stuck indoors, behind a games console, ipad or TV. In this world of high stress working cultures, any spare time should be spent living the dream, making it all worthwhile.
